The Os Apriscos property, one hectare in size, is located on the left bank of the Tins river, in the village of O Areal, one kilometer from A Serra de Outes. The river crosses the capital of Outes and ends two kilometers downstream in the marshlands of the Tambre river, forming "A Ensenada do Engano", a fluvial maritime area protected by Red Natura 2000.
The property is located in the village of Mourelos, a small village sheltered by the mountains of A Pena and very close to the lookout of A Pedra da Vella.
